Explaining the principals of both ancient and modern processes, artist James Hayes demonstrates the arcane art of bronze casting. This live action learning experience gives students of all ages a deep understanding of the concepts and mechanics involved. James also gives workshops in ceramics hand building techniques, and the raku firing process, at Signal Arts Centre in Bray. James has also developed workshops for beginners in his studio premises, in cold forging copper into bowls and bracelets, and casting bronze into cuttlefish to create small decorative objects such as earings and pendants.
