The Big Egg Hunt Dublin 2013, Charity Fundraiser for the Jack & Jill Foundation

Spray paint on fibreglass, finished with exterior varnish, 2.5 feet / 76cm tall (not including base)

"From February until Easter 2013, Dublin will be home to the biggest Easter egg hunt in the history of the state when over 100 fibre glass eggs will be secreted around the capital, each one decorated by well known artisans."

For this artwork I created a version of the classic fractal, the Hilbert space-filling curve, a version which would tile perfectly around a cube shape. I then projected this onto the curved shape of the egg using a distorted grid.
