"Fishing for Knowledge" 2011

Causeway National School, Co Kerry. Bronze, 1.2m tall

The Salmon of Knowledge form was developed through workshops with the staff & students of Causeway National School County Kerry. Participants had the freedom to write and draw on the wax fish scales before I added them to the form.

I ran bronze casting demonstrations at the school, to bring the participants through the full creative process from beginning to completion. The sculpture is sited at the entrance to a housing estate near the school.
