"The Nest of War" 2024

Collaboration with UAnimals Ukraine & the National Museum of Ireland - Natural History, Co Dublin. Welded mild steel and barbed wire - 31 cm x 29cm x 10cm, 1.75kg.

The animal rights group UAnimals approached me with a view to producing an artwork for them that will highlight the devastation happening to the environment in the Ukraine as a result of the Russian invasion. The Natural History Museum in Dublin agreed to purchase the artwork for their collection, and to display it starting on World Environment Day 2024 to highlight this issue.
