The Phantom Galleries are a project of Bray Arts to utilise empty shop fronts in the town for the display of artwork. The aim of this year's Phantom Galleries exhibition is to give the viewer an insight into the working life of the artist. This is achieved by recreating a sample of each artists studio in each window, giving the viewer as much visual information as possible about how an artist works.

The theme of Phantom Galleries 2011 is Freedom of Spirit in the Spirit of Freedom in conjunction with the celebration of 50 years of Amnesty International. My current and recent work falls into this theme in that I am exploring life through my own eyes and trying also to see life through the eyes of an innocent child. The display of a variety of my sketchbooks and a work-in-progress along with finished works, gives a glimpse into the development of my ideas and my artistic process.
